A symposium seeking to bring together film policymakers and academics organised by the University of Hertfordshire in association with the British Film Institute took place at NESTA on 26th October. The objective was to explore ways in which academics, policy makers and the film industry could collaborate. The event was part of BFI London Film Festival. CMCI’s Ros Gill spoke on the panel that discussed the challenges of diversity and representation of ‘talent’. Andy Pratt was on the panel on economic processes and organisation. Finola Kerrigan from King’s Department of Management also spoke at the event on the topic of audiences and consumption.
