Andy visited Zurich, this week (Nov. 4th) to give a lecture to architects at the Institute for Urban Design , at Switzerland’s top university, ETH “The creative city?”, Institute for Urban Design. His talk was based upon a critique of creative cities that he published in Geografiska Annaler Series B-Human Geography 90B:107-117. entitled “Creative cities: The cultural industries and the creative class.” As can be seen from the photo, the ETH Science City, out of town campus is in a nice location!
